HCV/Hepatitis C Workshop

ALAMOSA — Hepatitis C is an irresistible (infectious) liver illness that spreads through blood-to-blood contact with a tainted individual.

Andres Guerrero with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and Chris Grano with Hep C Connection in Denver will introduce the workshop "Hep C-What you have to Know" on Thursday, October 8, in Alamosa.

The workshop will be held at SLV Heath Education Center at 1919 Main St. in Alamosa. Two times for the same system are accessible — 3:30–5 p.m. also, 7– 8:30 p.m.

Hep C testing will be accessible at no charge for individuals who use infusion medications, were conceived somewhere around 1945 and 1965, engaged in sexual relations accomplices who are Hep C positive, had tattoos in jail or correctional facility and/or had blood items or tissue before 1992.
