Health Ministry Turns down DATB Proposal HCV/Hepaptitis C

The Drugs Technical Advisory Board (DTAB) has turned down the Union wellbeing service's proposition to alter Rule 3-An of the Drugs & Cosmetics Rules, 1945 to announce the National Institute of Biologicals (NIB) as Central Drug Laboratory for testing of a portion of the antibodies, for example, BCG immunization. These are right now being tried at Central Drug Laboratory, CRI, Kasauli.

Rules 3-An of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules recommends the capacities which a research facility may release as Central Drugs Laboratory in admiration of the medications determined in that.

The NIB, Noida is an informed lab under sub-administer (8) of Rule 3-A for testing of specific classifications of medications as re-appraising research facility.
