A Whitley County woman accused of spitting on police was indicted.
Toye Hill, 20, was in court Monday where she pleaded not guilty.
Hill is charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Police said she intentionally spit in a Williamsburg police officer's face.
The incident happened in June.
She is expected to appear back in court November 2nd.
